Q: I have never participated in fitness training. Is this right for me?

A: For starters, welcome! We are trained to work with all ages and skill levels, as well as make you feel comfortable while working with us! If you are uncertain if this is right for you, trial a session and we will be happy to talk through any concerns you may have.


Q: How should I prepare for my first session?

A: Come prepared with water, a snack, and athletic clothing! You may also check with your physician/medical professional to understand what limitations you are working with, if any.


Q: What is an exercise session?

A: An exercise session is a one-on-one session between you and a GETM professional. Sessions will range in intensity, discipline (such as strength training versus meditation), focus, and pace!


Q: What is a GETM exercise session like?

A: Our Training sessions are fun, active, and educational. You get to choose how you want to train, whether it be a video call, in-person sessions, pre-designed videos, educational materials, or a mix of all! Since your trainer adapts to your learning style, your workout design is completely customized to you, what you want, and your personality type. In this way, we guarantee you a highly personalized training design that maximizes your efficiency and your results!


Q: Why is a typical session flow?

A: We always adapt to fit your needs, therefore session flows tend to change. For example if you are under stress prior to a session, a GETM professional will adapt the workout to include more relaxing recovery based activity so you can still progress in your fitness goals, without overstressing yourself!


Q: Can I do in-person only, virtual only, or a mix of both?

A: Yes! We are equipped to meet in-person at a location of your choice or virtually via online web chat. We can also mix and match virtual and in-person to fit your perfect workout schedule!


Q: What do you mean select locations?

A: Arrangements can be made at a location of your choice! For example, an athletic field, a gym, a facility, a home, etc. Currently we service the following areas in-person:
Connecticut

  • Naugatuck Valley
  • Greater Hartford Area
By request we make guest apperances to other states/countries as well!


Q: What is the "Teach and Train" Model?

A: Part of our fitness culture is to actively stand out against corporate trapping. By teaching our participants proper fitness practices, they will eventually become healthier, happier, able to make better fitness choices, and therefore more self-sufficient! We call this our "Teach" (provide education) and "Train" (while doing fitness exercise) model!


Q: How do I claim my exercise sessions?

A: Your assigned GETM professional will communicate with you via phone, text, or email where you can create a schedule of your sessions. Together, you both can create the perfect exercise schedule with professional guidance!


Q: What does the G-Certified badge mean?

A: The prestigous GETM Certified Badge is given to our community members that have up-to-date credentials, that participate in continuing education, and that maintain an average member satisfaction rating of 3.8 or higher.


Q: Applying for a G-Badge?

A: To apply for a G-Badge you must meet the following criteria: must be a professional member, must be in good standing, and must verify and show proof of all certifications.


Q: What is the participant rating?

A: The participant rating is a member satisfaction rating that is live reported directly from every GETM participant that has ever rated a professional! It is a means of creating genuine untampered feedback so you can better understand what professional you’d like to work with.


Q: Is GETM Training a registered organization?

A: Yes we are a registered LLC! We keep up-to-date with all registration paperwork and legal compliance to ensure smooth operation and good standing with the legal compliance involved in business operations.


Q: How long is a demonstration session?

A: Your scheduled demonstration session will run for a minimum of ten minutes and are done via webcam at your convenience..


Q: What is a demonstration session?

A: A demonstration session is a chance to get answers. You will be able to participate in a fitness analaysis, and have a chance to talk with a Professionally Certified Fitness Coach about your health and fitness routines and questions.


Q: Does a demonstration session cost money?

A: There is no charge, no hidden fees, and no obligations when you sign up. This is a complimentary service for you to enjoy!


Q: What is in it for me? Why do a demonstration session?

A: You will recieve: Exercises and Safety Tips, an assigned professional as a resource you can speak with directly, a body-analysis test to determine your strengths and areas of improvement, a follow along nutrition plan and insight into exercise nutrition


Q: What is your hours of operation?

A: We are a 24/7 service platform, but do hold office hours Monday-Friday 9AM - 5PM (EST), and Saturdays 11PM to 12PM (EST)
